All I knew about Copenhagen was that it’s a bike-friendly city and that it’s always cold. Yet, the moment I found out that I would have had a week off from my studies in February – definitely not the hottest month of the year – I immediately booked a flight to there.
Just with a little online research I discovered that Copenhagen is not a big city but still it’s certainly the coolest kid of North Europe. The streets are plenty of urban-chic bars and impressive murals, which create the perfect background for what I found out to be a bright design and fashion stage.
From the food, through people and the architecture I believe that Copenhagen is more than a simple city: it’s an intense urban experience.
