I’m not a big fan of luxury resorts and lazy days spent sunbathing, but the beaches of Madoogali island were able to convert even a restless traveller like me.
We spent a week in Maldives during the spring break because I’m firmly convinced that there’s nothing better than a week of amazing diving to recover from a crazy exam session.
There’s nothing to say about Madoogali but the fact that it’s breathtaking. The island is so small that we literally explore it in 15 minutes, but it turned out that we couldn’t take our eyes off the beautiful nature that surrounded us.
There we enjoyed the most beautiful sunset we’d ever seen.
In Maldives there’s no much to do but laying on the beach, swimming and diving. I honestly don’t know how people who don’t like diving can spend a week there: the place seems like heaven indeed, but after a while there’s the chance it can become a boring heaven.
Luckly, for us it was a unforgettable week. A wonderful reef like that it’s hard to describe and the colors of the evening are something that we still keep in our mind.
